Katie put on her dress up in the beautiful bridal suite and Katie’s mom Marjorie had the best expression when seeing her daughter in her dress for the first time.Īdam and Katie were married outside near the lake by Katie’s friend and officiant, Susan S. Knowing that Adam really loves to play the game, the series of photos came out great! Not only were they totally chill but literally jumped at the chance when I asked if they could play some poker for some fun shots. We drove over to the The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake in Averill Park to meet up with Adam and his Groomsmen. Yup, these two were definitely meant to be together. FUNNY enough, Katie said she picked out the SAME exact card and sent to Adam. Adam sent over a special card for Katie to read and her expression was priceless. The girls joked and had fun drinking some mimosas as Keith and I quickly got to work. Katie’s hair was gorgeous thanks to Cheri Rivette from Just Glamorous Salon and Boutique, and Helen Barboza Centanni from Bella Caras was busily applying Katie’s makeup when we arrived. We met up with Katie and her girls over at the Marriott Residence Inn. Now you can understand the reasoning behind the “theme” of their reception. The two met each other through their love of theater. Katie has produced various plays as well over the years. Adam is an actor and is the co-founder and technical director of Class Act Productions in the Capital Region. A little back story about Adam and Katie, they are “theater” people. They just “click,” if you know what I mean. Knowing Adam and then meeting Katie, in an instant we knew they were made for each other. Adam’s family has been good friends with Meg’s family for years since Adam and Meg’s sister Erin went to school with each other. Adam and Katie approached us 2 years ago to book our services as their wedding photographers. We’ve been very excited to post this wedding for awhile now.
